With the final leg from Cromwell to Farndon came the clouds, rain and gusty winds just to remind us we were back home!

After a trouble free
journey going the other way a week earlier I was hoping for a short and
pleasant cruise to Cromwell Lock, but Neap tides not giving us as much
water as we'd hoped for so a painful 4.5 hours spent negotiating the
very shallow water up to Cromwell Lock. With the final leg from Cromwell to Farndon came the clouds, rain and gusty winds just to remind us we were back home! |
